Millennium A.G.M

At the 2000 A.G.M. the ladies were invited to attend the A.G.M. for the first time as full members and allowed to vote, to elect a mixed Management Committee. There was also a new trophy donated to the Club by Presidents Linda and Chic Nash, the Millenium Trophy, which was named the Club Championship (Mixed) Trophy and is a single hand competition for ladies and gents, with an “all-in” draw. The Committee also decided that the Ladies Section would be renamed the Catering Section, responsible for all catering within the Club. There was also a new membership within the club, named Social Membership set at £20 for individuals and £35 for couples, which would allow non-bowlers to enjoy all the facilities of the Club.
